The Public Financial Enterprises Agency has appointed Mr. Yewondwosen Etefa as Managing Director of the Ethiopian Insurance Corporation as of December 11, 2009. Mr. Yewodwosen Etefa has received his BA in Business Administration from Addis Ababa University . He has 24 years of experience. He has also attended different trainings at home and abroad.

Mr. Yewondwosen Etefa has served the previous Ethiopian Insurance and Banking Institute for six years  as Head, Management Training Department then he joined the National Bank of Ethiopia & served the bank for five years as Head,  Insurance Supervision Department, for 8 years as Insurance Inspector, and as Head, Insurance Supervision Division for the last five years.

In other related news Board of Management Chairman and Members has been appointed  as of December 1, 2009 and December 21, 2009 respectively.
